CRF Services — Help Central

CRF's Client Services Group works with NGOs (non-governmental organizations) around the world — both online and onsite — to provide security training, hardware and ongoing technical support and training. Click an item in the left-side menu, or get help by telling us where your NGO is located in the world...

Where Is Your NGO Located?

CSG covers five geographic regions. Wherever possible, services fit the unique needs, languages and cultures of NGOs, as well as regulations governing cryptographic technology in different jurisdictions.1 Please click on the map below (or on the menu at left) for the "Cryptographers without Borders" services available in your part of the world2:

CRF's Client Service Philosophy

The goal of CRF's Client Services Group is to provide a unique set of services to NGOs in the social justice community by addressing their specific communications privacy and security needs. We define Client Services as those human-oriented processes and tools needed to assess the needs of those in the field; direct and inform product and service developments to meet those needs and; deliver these products and services to those clients.

CSG serves as the "interface" with our clients, keeping their needs at the forefront. CRF's Mission is to make both NGOs and security professionals safer and more effective in doing their work. As internal advocates for CRF's clients, the CSG's primary objective is to fine-tune CRF's work to best meet our clients' needs. CSG also brings issues from the user community and relays them to help guide the R&D Group's work in useful directions.

Notes:

1: Governments may prohibit CRF from providing highly technical cryptographic services in certain jurisdictions, and CRF may also be restricted by export regulations from providing certain technical security services in specific countries. Please contact us to determine the restrictions on the possession and use of cryptography in your area, if any.

2: CRF Client Services currently has contractors & volunteers available to help in the North America, Europe and Latin America and more programs are under construction or seeking funding. While our Asia & Pacific and Middle East & Africa client services are under development, useful online services are currently available.
